UnCamp 2020: From Our House to Yours!

Join us at UnCamp 2020, a one-day virtual Camp Living Waters event! UnCamp will take place on July 28th from 10am-12 noon then from 2-5pm. Register at this link!

We made the very difficult decision to cancel in-person Camp Living Waters for 2020, based on Humboldt county’s guidelines for summer programs, along with concerns of our staff and church officials. If anyone has questions or would like to discuss the cancellation further, you can contact us at, where you will reach our Administrator/Coordinator Emily Armstrong Buck, or contact The Very Rev. Sara Potter at

We make this announcement with heavy hearts. This is a huge disappointment for many campers as well as staff, and we are offering a day of online camp programming as noted above. Beyond that, we look forward with great joy to a mass reunion in 2021.

For information on how the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California is responding to SARS-CoV2, visit their website at which includes information on online Sunday worship. Know that we are praying for all of you. A prayer from the Office of the Bishop, adapted for camp:

Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this camp family.  Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all thing necessary for our common life, and bring us to all be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

Camp Living Waters is a week-long Episcopal summer camp in the heart of Redwood Valley. We are a non-profit camp based at St. Albans parish in Arcata and draw our staff members from the faith communities of the North Coast. Trained staff members from the local faith communities lead, supervise and encourage campers and counselors. Our week is based around a daily schedule including crafts, outdoor activities, swimming, Bible discussion, worship and nightly campfire, with additional special activities throughout the week such as stargazing. Campers from age 9 to 15 make new friendships and explore their faith; counselors learn leadership skills in a supportive atmosphere.

We spend the week living in and building a Christian community based in values of love, service and fun!
